Who are we?

Just a few families that love the entire Word of God and want to live it together.

When do we meet?

We meet every Sabbath (every Saturday) at 2:30 PM just south of Mishawaka. Indiana.

What do we do?

We read the Word, discuss it, and enjoy fellowship together.  People usually read the passages of Scripture throughout the week preceding the Sabbath, and then try to come to the Sabbath gathering prepared with questions or comments.  We read the Scripture out loud, chapter by chapter, informally discussing each chapter as we go.  We read from the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) and from the Apostolic Scriptures (New Testament) each Sabbath.  We typically finish our Scripture reading and discussion about 5:30 and then share a carry-in meal together, followed by a time of fellowship.

What do we believe?

We believe the whole Bible, both the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) and the Apostolic Scriptures (New Testament), is the inspired Word of God, and is fully applicable to all believers today.  We are part of God’s people, grafted into Israel because of our faith in Yeshua, the sinless Messiah, who sacrificed his life for our sins.  We know that salvation comes only through the grace of God.  It is in response to the Father’s saving grace that we desire to show our love to Him by following all His commands to the best of our ability.

What makes us different?

As much as possible we seek to live in accordance with all the commands of Scripture. That means we “keep the Sabbath”, which is on Saturday not Sunday.  It means we keep the special days (Appointed Times) that the Father asked us to keep, such as Passover, Firstfruits, Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles.  It means we eat only the foods that God says His people can eat — so we don’t eat pork or shellfish, for example.  Basically, it means we read the Scriptures and try our best to do what it says, even if if the purpose is hard to understand.

Can anyone come?

Sure. If you are interested in learning more about the Word of God, you are welcome to meet with us.  We are just people serious about our journey toward intimacy with the Father.  We don’t have it all figured out, but know that the answers are found in His Word — His instructions for life for His people.
