BIBLICAL
CALENDAR
God established certain days for His people to observe throughout all generations. Together, the weekly Sabbath, the New Moons, and the Appointed Times form what we refer to as the Biblical Calendar.
The Sabbath, the seventh day of each week; the New Moons, marking the beginning of each month; and the Appointed Times—including Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, Shavuot, Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and Sukkot—are special times that YHWH calls His people to remember and observe.
These days help us understand God's plan and purpose for His people and remember His work of redemption through His Son, the Messiah.
