A SABBATH FELLOWSHIP IN MISHAWAKA, INDIANA

UNITED BY A LOVE FOR GOD & KEEPING HIS COMMANDS

WHO WE ARE

We’re a small, Christ-centered fellowship of families who love the whole Word of God and seek to follow Yeshua according to what Scripture teaches. We gather each Sabbath to read, study, and discuss Scripture together, seeking to grow in faith, obedience, and understanding.

COMMUNITY

We gather each Sabbath at 2:30 PM to spend time together in Scripture, reading from the weekly Torah portion, other books of the Hebrew Scriptures, and the Apostolic Scriptures. We study and discuss what we’re reading, asking questions and sharing what we’re learning as we seek to grow together in faith, obedience, and understanding. Our time in Scripture typically continues until about 5:30 PM, followed by a shared meal and fellowship. Throughout the year, we also come together to observe the appointed times described in Scripture, giving us additional opportunities to worship, study, celebrate, and enjoy fellowship with one another.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We affirm the Holy Scriptures, from Genesis through Revelation, both “Old Testament” and “New Testament” in their entirety, to be the inspired Word of YHWH Elohey Israel (LORD God of Israel), useful and wholly applicable to our lives:   2 Timothy 3:16–17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.   We also affirm Yeshua as the Messiah, the Son of God, the only way to the Father and eternal life:   John 14:6 Yeshua answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.   John 20:31 But these are written that you may believe that Yeshua is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

LEADERSHIP

Our fellowship is led by a small group of men and their wives who serve together in prayer, study, discussion, and the practical needs of the community. The men carry primary responsibility for leadership within the fellowship, while their wives are actively involved in leadership discussions, planning, and serving alongside them. We do not have a single pastor or individual who serves as the head of the group. Instead, our leadership works together to care for the fellowship, seek YHWH’s direction through Scripture and prayer, and help cultivate a community where we can grow together in faith and obedience.
